3Y0I ---> "Atlantic Tuna" is the name of the ship that is expected to take
the 3Y0I team to Bouvet Island. She is currently "being refurbished from her
very bottom to her top", the team reported on 2 January, and added that
"getting the ship ready is a time and money consuming process that requires
a lot of patience and flexibility from us". While there still are "some
technical obstacles keeping the 'Atlantic Tuna' in the shipyard", the team
members "are aware we start to face a situation [where] the most suitable
and safe weather permitting season to reach Bouvet Island is about to slip
away". See https://www.rebeldxgroup.com/meet-the-atlantic-tuna/ for the
complete release and pictures of the ship.

DAYTON TOPBAND AND CONTEST DINNERS ---> The 30th Top Band Dinner will be
held on 17 May, followed by the 27th Contest Dinner on the 18th. Both the

full years of sound clips available.

IOTA DXPEDITIONER OF THE YEAR AWARD ---> The first year of the Island Radio
Expedition Foundation's (IREF) "IOTA DXPeditioner of the Year" award [425DXN
1392] has come to a close and the calculations are being made to determine
the winners. "While IREF has been monitoring activations all year long, we
want to be certain that all expeditioners who activated new, rare or
multiple IOTA islands during the year to make sure that IREF has your
expedition results. There may have been individuals who have been a part of
multiple expeditions that might have been missed. Please send an email to
ab5ebdxer[@]gmail.com with your expedition information. The rules for the
Award can be found at https://irefradio.com/activator-award/".

MOST WANTED LIST ---> The "Most Wanted 100 Countries Archive" maintained by
Tom, K8CX (http://hamgallery.com/countries/) covers the years 1993-2018 and
counting. The charts show the Top 100 DXCC Entities moving up and down the
list from year to year; data come from The DX Magazine (2014 and before) and
Club Log (since 2015).
Club Log's latest Most Wanted List, generated on 28 December 2018, can be
found at https://secure.clublog.org/mostwanted.php. The information is
derived from QSOs uploaded to Club Log (currently 542.3 million log entries
available for analysis) and, to improve quality, only QSOs that have QSLs
confirmed are considered to be worked. The most wanted charts are rebuilt
once per month, on average.
