3B8    - Nigel, G3TXF has been active again as 3B8XF from Mauritius (AF-049)
         since  5 March,  and  will  remain  there  until 24 March.  He will
         participate in the RSGB Commonwealth Contest and in the  Russian DX
         Contest (16-17 March); outside the contests he operates CW and FT8.

6W     - Jacques, F6HMJ will be active  as  6W7/F6HMJ  from Senegal  from 19
         March to 28 April. He will operate SSB and CW on 80-10 metres. [TNX

A3     - Masa, JA0RQV will be active as A35JP from Tongatapu (OC-049), Tonga
         on 16-27 March.  In his spare time he will operate  CW, SSB and FT8
         on 80-6 metres.  QSL via  Club Log's OQRS, LoTW,  or via  home call
         (direct or bureau).
A3     - Grant VK5GR, Oly VK5XDX and Andrew VK5AKH  will be active as  A35AG
         from Tongatapu (OC-049), Tonga from 22 September to 7 October. They
         will participate in the CQ WW DX RTTY Contest and in the Oceania DX
         SSB Contest. Plans are to be QRV on 80-10 metres ("160m is planned,
         but will be intermittent") SSB, CW, FT8 and RTTY with two stations.
         QSL via M0OXO's OQRS, LoTW, eQSL, plus Club Log for  IOTA matching;
         traditional bureau cards should go via VK5GR.  More information and

C5     - DH7KU, DK1BT, DL6SAK, DL7DF, DL7UFR and  SP3CYY  will be active  as
         C5DL from The Gambia on 1-15 April.  They will operate CW, SSB  and
         digital modes on 160-10 metres with three stations.  QSL via DL7DF,
         direct or bureau, and LoTW  "within 6 months after the DXpedition".

CE0Z   - The  XR0ZRC  DXpedition  team  to  Robinson  Crusoe  Island,   Juan
         Fernandez (SA-005)  [425DXN 1445]  now includes  R7AL, RK8A,  RL5F,
         RW9JZ, SP6EQZ and CE1TBN. The first operators might be QRV as early
         as 9 March, with limited activity until the 14th,  when the rest of
         the team and the main equipment will arrive. Plans are to have four
         stations active on 160-10m CW, SSB and FT8 (Fox & Hound mode).  The

CT9    - Once  again  Rosel, DL3KWR  and  Hardy, DL3KWF  will be  active  as
         CT9/DL3KWR and CT9/DL3KWF from Madeira (AF-014) from  8 March to  4
         April. They will operate CW and FT8  on the HF bands, 60m included.

DU     - Press, DU6/N6SS is on  Panay Island (OC-129),  Philippines until 17
         April.  Main activity will be on 160, 80 and 40 metres CW, FT8  and
         SSB, including an entry in the CQ WW WPX SSB Contest. QSL direct to

DU     - Ed, 4F1OZ and Gil, 4F2KWT will be active as DX1CC from Arena Island
         (OC-207) on 12-15 April. They will operate CW and SSB on 30, 20 and

E6     - Janusz, SP9FIH will be active as E6AF from Niue (OC-040) for "a few
         weeks" starting on 18 March. He will operate SSB, RTTY and FT8 (Fox
         & Hound mode) on 160-15m.  QSL via Club Log's OQRS (preferred),  or

F      - Christian,  F5OHH  will be  active  as  F5OHH/p  from  Ile de Groix
         (EU-048) on 16-23 March. QSL via home call, burreau or direct,  and
         eQSL.
FR     - A team of seven Croatian operators (9A2AA, 9A2NA,  9A3CJW,  9A3EME,
         9A3MR, 9A7Y and 9A8RA) will be active as TO19A from  Reunion Island
         (AF-016) from 27 April to 8 May. They will operate CW, SSB and  FT8
         with a focus on the low bands.  QSL via 9A2AA,  logsearch  on  Club
         Log.
FW     - Nobby, G0VJG will be active as FW/G0VJG from Wallis Island (OC-054)
         on 6-20 May.  He will operate SSB and FT8  on various bands. Before
         (3-5 May) and after (20-22 May) the FW operation he will be  QRV as

GI     - GB1SPD, GB2SPD and GB5SPD are  three  special callsigns  that  will
         celebrate St Patrick's Day from Northern Ireland.  The St Patrick's
         Day on the air event will run from  12 UTC on 16 March until 12 UTC

GJ     - Kazu, M0CFW will be  active  again  from  Jersey (EU-013) on  15-17
         March. He will participate  in the  Russian DX Contest  (from 12.00
         UTC on  16 March  to  11.59 UTC on the 17th)  as MJ5Z;  outside the
         contest he will be QRV as MJ0CFW. QSL via LoTW and Club Log's OQRS.

P4     - John, W2GD will be active as P44W from Aruba (SA-036) from 25 March
         to 1 April, and again on 22-27 May.  Main activity  will be  during
         the CQ WW WPX SSB and CW Contests, with some operation on  160, 80,
         30, 17 and 12 metres outside the contests.  QSL via LoTW, or direct
         only to N2MM.
ST     - Arik, EK6DO  is  active  as  ST2/EK6DO  from  Khartoum, Sudan while
         working there for  the next  3-4 years.  He hopes to soon  have the
         callsign ST2DO. Activity is on 40, 20, 15 and 10 metres CW and SSB.

VP5    - Look for VP5/W2TT  and  VP5/AF3K to be active  from  Providenciales
         (NA-002),  Turks & Caicos Islands  from  27 March to 1 April.  They
         will participate in the  CQ WPX SSB Contest as VP5P  (QSL via LoTW,
         Club Log's OQRS  or via N2OO);  activity outside  the contest  will
         focus on 6 metres  SSB, CW  and  digital modes.  QSLs VP5/W2TT  and

XT     - Max, DK1MAX  will  be  active  again  as XT2MAX  from  Ouagadougou,
         Burkina Faso on 17-25 April. He will operate mostly  CW and FT8  on
         all bands. QSL via LoTW and eQSL, logsearch on Club Log.  Paper QSL

XV     - Jun, JL8AQH will be active as XV9XX from Hue, Vietnam from 27 April
         to 4 May. He will be QRV on 40, 30, 20 and 17 metres,  with a focus
         on 30m CW. QSL via Club Log's OQRS, LoTW, or direct to JL8AQH.
XZ     - Yuki, JH1NBN will be active again as  XZ2C  from Myanmar  on  20-28
         March.  He is allowed  to operate  all modes on  15, 12, 10  and  6

ZL7    - Ian, ZL2BGL  and  Bill, ZL2AYZ  will be active  as  ZL7C  from  the
         Chatham Islands (OC-038)  from  28 March to 2 April,  including  an
         entry in the CQ WPX SSB Contest. They will operate SSB and some CW,
         PSK31 and FT8 on  80, 40, 20 and 15 metres,  with possible activity
         on 17, 12 and 10 metres depending on propagation. QSL via ZL2AYZ.

3Y0I ---> "The 3Y0I Team re-assembles in  Cape Town, while  operators return
to South Africa", the team announced on 7 March. "Meanwhile, the rest of the
team  members  who  are  currently  in ZS,  finalize the  very  last  vessel
preparations. Stay tuned for further news coming soon".  As of  8 March, the
"only  website   providing  direct   information   about  our   mission"  is

QSL E44YL ---> Please note that the QSL route for CW QSOs made with E44YL in
2016 is via IK2CKR (direct only).  CW QSOs made in  2017  go  via IK3GES  as

for the  ten Most  Wanted  DXCC  Entities  (2009-18), the  62  deleted  DXCC
Entities, obsolete prefixes,  stations  from  Maghreb  from  1945  to  1962,
Allied Forces stations in Germany (1945-70), special stations  commemorating
ITU and IARU, stations using the United Nations prefix (4U), Antarctic bases
and TAAF (Terres  Australes and Antarctiques Francaises), the various French
DXCC island Entities in the Pacific Ocean, the Indian Ocean and the Americas
(from 1945 to 1969), pre-1945  countries, French Departments and CONUS, plus

QSL W6KG & W6QL ---> Last year,  South Jersey DX Association  President  Bob
Schenck (N2OO) was contacted by the Yasme Foundation about  taking over  all
of the Lloyd and Iris Colvin (W6KG and W6QL) logs.  A few weeks ago,  a file
cabinet filled with  the paper logs and cards  arrived at N2OO's QTH.  There
are 112 Lloyd and Iris logs,  along with  two other DXpedition logs  (FO0XX,
Clipperton Island 1986 and 3D2AM, Conway Reef 1990) as well as  three  Danny
Weil logs (VP2VB British Virgin Islands 1957, HC8VB Galapagos 1960 and FO8AN
Clipperton 1960). All logs with associated dates of operation are listed  at

RSGB COMMONWEALTH CONTEST ---> The 82nd edition of the  Commonwealth  (BERU)
Contest (https://berucontest.wordpress.com)  will  be held  on  9-10  March,
from 10 UTC to 10 UTC, on 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 metres  CW.  Only  operators
located within the United Kingdom and Crown  Dependencies,  Commonwealth  or
British Mandated Territories are eligible to enter.

+ SILENT KEY + Hans Nilsson, SM3TLG (SH3O) unexpectedly  passed away  at  68
years of age.  A serious island  chaser  and  activator,  he was in the IOTA
Honour Roll and operated from several IOTA groups and DX locations.
