3D2/C  - It looks as if the Rebel DX Group's 3D2CR team is heading again  to
         Conway Reef.  A few days ago their  first attempt  at reaching  the
         island aborted owing to adverse sea and weather conditions. Updates
         are expected to be posted to https://www.rebeldxgroup.com/.
3W     - R9LAJ, R9LR, UA9KDF and UA9LDD will be active as XV9DF from Hon Tre
         Island (AS-157), Vietnam on 2-15 June.  They will operate  CW,  SSB
         and FT8 on 40-10 metres. QSL via M0OXO's OQRS.
6O     - Ali, EP3CQ will be  active again as  6O1OO  from  Somalia  starting
         around mid-June until the end  of July  (but he will not be QRV  on
         1-10 July).  This time  he will concentrate  on  6 metres FT8.  QSL
         direct to Ali Solhjoo, Schnackenburgstr. 3, 12159 Berlin, Germany.
CU     - Herman, HB9CRV is currently  back on the air as  CU8FN from  Flores
         Island (EU-089), Azores  until 11 June.  On 1-2 June he  and  CU8AS
         will participate in the IARU Region 1 Field Day (CW) as CR2V/p from
         a location near the Albarnaz Lighthouse. QSLs via HB9CRV (direct or

EI     - The  Galway Radio Experimenters Club  (EI4GRC)  will  be active  as
         EI100ABC for the  Alcock & Brown Centenary Festival  to be held  in
         Clifden, Co. Galway  on  11-16 June.  The festival  celebrates  the
         100th anniversary of the first  non-stop transatlantic  flight made
         in June 1919 by British aviators John Alcock and Arthur Brown  from
         St. John's, Newfoundland to Clifden, Ireland. QSL via EI2II.
F      - Marc, F0FHU and Gil, F4FET will be active as TM1I from  30 May to 2
         June, including participation in the Championnat de France THF (1-2
         June). They will operate SSB and RTTY with a focus on 40, 20, 6 and
         2 metres, as well as 70cm. While their main camp is on Ile de Saint
         Rion (EU-074, DIFM MA-045), they will also operate from Ile Lemenez
         (not IOTA, DIFM MA-044),  Ile Blanche  (not IOTA, DIFM MA-122)  and
         Ile Roch Ar Mennou (not IOTA, DIFM MA-121). Detailed information on

F      - Commemorating the  500th anniversary  of the death  of  Leonardo da
         Vinci (1452-1519),  the Radio Club de Tours Metropole (F6KCI)  will
         be active as TM500LV between 1 June and 17 November. QSL via F1IOZ,

F      - For the 68th year the Association des Radioamateurs  de  la  Sarthe
         (F6KFI) will operate a special event station for the  24  Hours  of
         Le Mans. Look for TM24H  on  2-16 June,  with activity  on  various
         bands and modes (SSB, CW, RTTY, PSK, FT8).  QSL  via the bureau  to

F      - Commemorating the 75th anniversary of  D-Day  ("Jour J" in French),
         the Radio-Club de Caen (F6KCZ) will be active as TM6J on  4-10 June
         from the  Merville  Gun  Battery's  historic  site,  near  the 1944
         landing area codenamed Sword.  Look for activity on 80-6 metres  CW
         and SSB. QSl via F6KCZ.
F      - The  Association  Mosellane  des  RadioAmateurs  will be active  as
         TM57FF on 7-22 June, and as  TM57FFC  from  23 June to 9 July.  The
         special callsigns are for the  FIFA  Women's World Cup of  football
         (soccer), whose 8th  edition  will be  held in France.  QSL via the
         bureau, or direct to F-11734.
F      - Commemorating the 75th anniversary  of D-Day,  the  Association des
         Radioamateurs de l'Orne will operate  special event station  TM75DD
         from Sainte-Mere-Eglise on 8-9 June.  They will operate  CW and SSB
         on 40, 30 and 20m. QSL via operator's instructions. [TNX F8REF]
G      - Promoting  geological  heritage  to  the  general  public,  special
         station GB6GEO will be active again  from Kent's Cavern,  England's
         oldest "home"  situated in  the  English Riviera (Torbay),  for the
         annual  Geoparks Communication Weekend  on 8-9 June.  QSL  via  the
         bureau or direct to G3VOF.
G      - GB100GP is a  commemorative callsign  allocated  to  Gilwell Park's
         permanent station (GB2GP) to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the
         headquarters of  the  Scout Association  in  the  UK. Next  planned
         activations are for 8-9 June, 12-14  and  25-28 July.  QSL via Club
         Log's OQRS.
GM     - Operating from the Shetland Islands (EU-012), Peter, MM0NQY will be
         active as GB2DAW on 3-9 June  during  the  Dementia Awareness Week.
         QSL direct to  Peter Davis,  2 Virkie Cottages,  Virkie,  Shetland,
         ZE3 9JS, United Kingdom.
GM     - "If seas  are calm,  and as  part of a landing party",  Col, MM0NDX
         hopes to be active as MM0NDX/p  from the  Isle of May  (EU-123, WWL
         IO86re) for 3-4 hours on 5 June.  He will be QRV on 20 and 6 metres
         only.
HC     - Elixander, W7HU and his son  Elixander Jr, N4EVJ  will operate  SSB
         and FT8 as homecall/HC7 from Ecuador on  8-11 June.  QSLs via LoTW,
         or via W7HU.  Alberto, HC1DAZ  will  be with them,  and  they  will
         demonstrate amateur radio to the local community in Shell Mera.
I      - ARI Venezia will be active as IQ3VE/p from Pellestrina (EU-131, IIA
         V-036) on 31 May-1 June.  QSL via the bureau.  Complete information

I      - Launched in 1904, the 'Elettra' was a two-masted steam  yacht  that
         Guglielmo  Marconi  used  as  a  floating  laboratory   for    many
         experiments. Part of her  keel  stands  in  the  grounds  of  Villa
         Griffone, at Pontecchio near Bologna, from where ARI  Fidenza  will
         be active as II4ART during the Museum Ships  Weekend on  1-2  June.

I      - Franco, IK4YCQ will be  active holiday  style  as  IG9/IK4YCQ  from
         Lampedusa Island (AF-019) on 2-9 June. He will operate SSB on 40-10

I      - ARI Varese will be QRV as II2VZME on 2-15 June. Activity will be on
         80-10 metres SSB, CW, RTTY, PSK and FT8. The special callsign is in
         memory of sen. Giuseppe Zamberletti (I2ZME), father of the  Italian
         Civil Protection,  who passed away on 26 January.  All QSOs will be
         confirmed automatically via the bureau.
JA     - Look for 8J3XXIV/3 and 8N3G2O/3 to operate SSB, CW and FT8 on  80-6
         metres from  Tanga Island (AS-117)  on  1-2 June.  Special callsign
         8N3G2O marks  the G20 Summit  that  will be  held  in Osaka,  while
         8J3XXIV celebrates the 24th Kansai Amateur Radio Festival. All QSOs
         will be confirmed automatically via the bureau as well  as  through

JA     - Look for JR0UIU/1 to be active from  Miyake Island (AS-008) on  1-2
         June,  and  from  Hachijo  Island  (AS-043)  on  3-4 June.  Weather
         permitting, he will operate CW, SSB, RTTY and FT8 on various bands.

JA     - Yoshi, JE2EHP will be active as  JE2EHP/6  from  Nago-shi,  Okinawa
         Island (AS-017) on  4-7 June.  He will operate  SSB, CW and FT8  on
         80-6 metres. QSL via the bureau, Club Log and LoTW.
JW     - Erling, LB2PG will be active as JW/LB2PG from  the  weather station
         on  Bear  Island  (EU-027),  Svalbard  (http://bjornoya.org/)  from
         sometime in June until November. He will operate SSB on 80-20m. QSL

LA     - Jacques, CT2IXX  will be active as  LA/CT2IXX/p  from  Melandsjoen,
         Hitra Island (EU-036) between  1 June and 12 July.  He will operate
         SSB only in his spare time. [TNX CT4NH]
OX     - Bo, OZ1DJJ will be  active  again  as  OX3LX  from  Nuuk, Greenland
         (NA-018) on 11-21 June,  with  possible  activity  also  from  Kook
         Island (NA-220).  Bo is QRV in his  spare time,  typically  "around
         lunch and after dinner". QSL via OZ0J, Club Log's OQRS and LoTW.
PJ2    - Look for Paul, VA3ZC to be active holiday style as  PJ2/VA3ZC  from
         Curacao (SA-099) on 9-16 June. He will operate FT8  and  slow speed
         CW on 40, 30 and 20 metres.  QSL via LoTW, or via home call (direct

PJ7,FS - Satoru, JI1DFO will be active as PJ8SK  from  Sint Maarten (NA-105)
         on 13-15 June, and as FS/AG5CR from Saint Martin (NA-105) on  16-18
         June. He will operate FT8 only on 40-17 metres. QSLs via JI1DFO; he

SM     - DL2VFR as SD7V/2, DL4BBH as SM2/DL4BBH and DL7UXG as SD3G/2 will be
         active  from  Seskaro Island (EU-139) on  6-7 June.  QSL  via  home
         calls. This will be the final stop of the  IOTA tour  that included
         activity  as  OH8/DL2VFR, OH8/DL4BBH and OH8/DL7UXG  from  Hailuoto
         (EU-184) on 26 May, followed by LA/DL2VFR, LA/DL4BBH and  LA/DL7UXG
         from  Langoya  (EU-033,  27 May-1 June)  and  the  Lofoten  Islands
         (EU-076, 1-5 June) [425DXN 1461].
SM     - Lars, SM6CUK will be active as SA6G/7 from  Ven Island (EU-137)  on
         10-14 June. He will operate CW only on 40-10m. QSL via SM6CUK. [TNX

V6     - Shu, JA1FMN will be active holiday style as V63PSK from Weno Island
         (OC-011), Micronesia  on  19-22 June.  He will operate FT8, FT4 and
         JT65 on  80-6 metres.  QSL via Club Log's OQRS, eQSL,  or direct to

XT     - Elvira, IV3FSG will  be active  again  as XT2SE  from  Ouagadougou,
         Burkina Faso on 1-13 June. QSL via Club Log's OQRS, or via IK3GES.

CARIBBEAN TRIP ---> Kan, JJ2RCJ will be active  as  ZF2CJ  from  the  Cayman
Islands (NA-016) on 23-25 June,  and as 6Y3Y from Jamaica (NA-097) on  26-28
June. He will operate mainly FT8 on 80-10 metres.  QSL via LoTW,  Club Log's
OQRS or direct to JJ2RCJ. [TNX NG3K]

SOUTH ORKNEY ISLANDS 2020 ---> VP8/VP8DXU is the callsign to be used  by the
Perseverance DX Group's team during their  DXpedition  to  the  South Orkney
Islands next year [425DXN 1461].  "Project plans continue  to be developed",
the team reported in thier Press Release #3 (26 May). "The radio and antenna
strategies are complete and work is underway building detailed project plans
and sourcing equipment". The fundraising campaign continues, and "a total of
29  clubs/foundations   have  committed  to  support  the  project  and  178
individuals have shown their support" so far.  "This is a good start, but we
still have a long way to go in order  to meet the goal  of the  team members
funding 50% of the estimated project cost of $325,000(USD)"  -  please visit

DXpeditions, we are again offering a tiered structure for early  LoTW upload

TQSL CONFIGURATION FILE ---> The latest TQSL configuration file, released on
22 May (config.xml v11.8), includes  FT4  as  submode of MFSK.  It also adds
AISAT1 and PO-101 in  the  Satellite  enumeration.  Recent versions  of TQSL
should provide a notification that a new version of config.xml is available,
and offer to downoad and install it.
