3B8    - Flavio, IW2NEF will be  active  holiday  style  as 3B8/IW2NEF  from
         Mauritus Island (AF-049) on 16-23 October. QSL via IK2DUW.
3W     - Tom, KC0W will be active as 3W9CW from  Vietnam on  17-30 November.
         He will  operate  CW and FT8  on  80-10 metres.  QSL via home  call
         (direct only) and logsearch on Club Log. He does not use LoTW. [TNX

4S     - Martti, OH2BH and others will be active  as  4S7BHG from  Sri Lanka
         from  25 October to 1 November.  They will focus on the  low bands,
         and will participate in the CQ WW DX SSB Contest. QSL via OH2BH.
9M0    - Hrane, YT1AD  and  a  large  multi-national  team (9M6ABZ,  9M6RHM,
         9M6ZAE, HL5FUA, K6MKF, K9JM, KO8SCA,  N6SJ, N6TQS,  PY2XB,  SV2GWY,
         VK3FY, VK3GK, W5XU, WD5COV, YT3W and ZL3WW) will be active as  9M0W
         from  Layang Layang, Spratly Islands (AS-051)  on  10-20 March 2018
         [425DXN 1354].  They will operate CW, SSB, RTTY, PSK31 and SSTV  on
         160-10 metres,  and JT65  on  2m  and  6m EME.  QSL via YT1AD.  See

A2     - Andre, NJ0F will be active as A25A from Botswana from 20 October to
         5 November, including  participation in  the  CQ WW DX SSB Contest.

A5     - Steve, N6SJ will be active  as  A52SJ  from  Paro, Bhutan on  12-19
         October and  again for one  night  on  26 October.  This will be  a
         Topband only operation,  with activity  on  CW (1826.5 kHz) or  FT8
         (1840 kHz) if conditions are marginal. QSL via home call; logsearch

C6     - Rich, N0HJZ will be active as C6ARW from Grand Bahama (NA-080) from
         23 October to 1 November, including  participation in the  CQ WW DX
         SSB Contest. Outside the contest he will operate SSB and CW on  all

E5_sc  - Steve, KL7SB will  be  active  as  E51RAT from  Rarotonga (OC-013),
         South Cook Islands on 8-18 October, including participation in  the

F      - Johan F4HHL,  Jerome F4HJO,  Luis F5THW and  Samuel F5UPO  will  be
         active  as  TM1CT (https://johanbarre.wixsite.com/tm1ct) from  Batz
         Island (EU-105) on  1-5 November.  They will operate  SSB, CW, RTTY
         and PSK31-63 on 80-10 metres with four stations. QSL via Club Log's
         OQRS (preferred) and LoTW, or via F4HJO (direct or bureau).
FG     - Once again Philippe, F1DUZ will be active as FG4KH from  Guadeloupe
         (NA-102) from  17 October to 6 November.  He will  operate SSB  and
         digital modes  on the  HF bands, and  will participate in the CQ WW

HA     - Special callsigns HA500M, HA500R, HA500T, HG500A,  HG500E,  HG500H,
         HG500I, HG500L, HG500N,  HG500PRO,  HG500R,  HG500REF,  HG500T  and
         HG500U  are  active  on  1-31  October  to  commemorate  the  500th
         anniversary  of  the  Protestant Reformation  initiated  by  Martin
         Luther (31 October 1517).  QSL via  LoTW,  eQSL or  via MRASZ  (the
         Hungarian Radio Amateur Society).  Details on the  award  programme

HK0_sa - LU1FM, LU2JCW,  LU3FMD,  LU6FOV and LU9FHF  will be active as  5K0T
         from  San  Andres  Island (NA-033)  on  12-25 November.  They  will
         operate  SSB, CW,  PSK31  and  FT8 with  three HF stations and  one
         Satellite  station.  QSL  via  Club  Log's  OQRS,  LoTW  and  eQSL;

I      - Eight Verona DX Team members will be  active  as  II3J  from  Santa
         Maria di Barbana Island (EU-130) on 6-8 October.  They will operate
         CW, SSB  and  digital  modes (RTTY, FT8, JT65, PSK) on  80-6 metres
         with two stations. QSL via Club Log's OQRS, or via IZ3JKI
J5     - 13-26 November are the new dates for the  Italian DXpedition Team's
         J5T operation from  Bubaque Island (AF-020),  Guinea-Bissau [425DXN
         1370].  Owing to a flight schedule change, they will go QRT one day
         later than planned. Seven operators  will  be  QRV on 160-10 metres
         CW and SSB with three stations;  RTTY will be used on 20m only, and
         they wil not operate FT8.  QSL via I2YSB  and eventually LoTW.  See

KH0    - Nick, JL1UTS (KH0TH)  and  his  wife  Chie, 7L3PFH (KH0TG)  will be
         active from Saipan (OC-086) on 14-22 October.  They will operate CW
         and SSB on 80, 40, 30, 20 and 17 metres. QSLs via JL1UTS. [TNX ODPX

PJ4    - Look for PJ4/NN5E and PJ4/NT5V to be active  from  Bonaire (SA-006)
         on 15-22 October. They will operate CW, SSB, RTTY and FT8.  QSL via

S7     - Kasimir, DL2SBY will be active again  as S79KB from  Mahe (AF-024),
         Seychelles from 20 October to 1 November. He will operate RTTY, SSB
         and CW on 80-10m. QSL via home call, direct only;  bureau cards can
         be requested via Club Log's OQRS by the end of November, as he will
         not renew his DARC membership.
T8     - T88CS  (QSL via JA6BMB, direct or bureau),  T88HS  (QSL via JA6KYU,
         direct only) and T88RH (QSL via JR6DRH) will  be active from  Koror
         (OC-009), Palau on 5-11 October.  They will  be  followed by  T88UW
         (QSL via  Club Log's OQRS,  LoTW,  eQSL  or  via JH7IPR,  direct or
         bureau),  T88SM  (QSL via JA6EGL, direct only) and  T88WM  (QSL via
         JQ6FQI, direct or bureau), who will be QRV from  the same  location
         on 11-17 October.
TA     - Special callsigns  TC10A, TC10E, TC10F, TC10K, TC10L, TC10M, TC10R,
         TC10S, TC10T and  TC10U  will  be  active  from  20 October  to  20
         November to  commemorate  the  79th  anniversary of  the  death  of
         Mustafa Kemal Ataturk,  the founder  of  the Turkish Republic.  See

V4     - Once again John, W5JON will  be  active  as  V47JA  from  St. Kitts
         (NA-104) from 15 October to 7 November. He will operate SSB on 160-
         6 metres (60m included), with planned activity during  the CQ WW DX

V8     - Special callsign V84K50GJ is active  until 15 October  to celebrate
         the Golden Jubilee of His Majesty Hassanal Bolkiah, the  Sultan and
         Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, who acceded to the throne  on
         5 October 1967. QSL direct to the address published on qrz.com.
VR     - Tom, KC0W will be  active  as  VR2/KC0W  from  Cheung  Chau  Island
         (AS-006), Hong Kong on 1-15 November. He will operate CW and FT8 on
         80-10 metres. QSL via home call (direct only) and logsearch on Club

VU     - Special callsigns AT1FI, AT2FI, AT3FI and AT4FI  will be active  on
         6-28 October for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, the world championship of
         football (soccer) for male players under the age  of 17 to be  held
         in India. Look for activity on 40, 20 and 15 metres SSB and digital
         modes.  QSL AT1FI, AT2FI and AT4FI  via VU2SMS (direct);  QSL AT3FI
         via VU2ZMK (direct).
XW     - Bruce, 3W3B  will be  active  again  as XW4XR from  Laos  on  12-24
         October.  He will operate CW and FT8 on  60-6 metres.  QSL via LoTW

Z3     - Z370M is the special callsign for  Radio Club "Nikola Tesla" (Z37M)
         from Stip, Macedonia to celebrate their 70th anniversary.  Activity
         started on 1 October, and will continue until 31 December.  QSL via
         LoTW, eQSL, Z33Z (direct) or LZ1JZ (bureau).
ZC4    - Adrian, G0KOM  will  be  active  as  ZC4MK  from  Avdimou Beach, UK
         Sovereign Base Areas on Cyprus on 27-31 October, possibly including
         activity during the  CQ WW DX SSB Contest.  QSL via home call, Club

CLUB LOG'S MOST WANTED LIST ---> The latest  Most Wanted List, generated  on
1 October is  available  at  https://secure.clublog.org/mostwanted.php.  The
information is derived  from   QSOs  uploaded  to  Club Log (currently 447.8
million log entries available for analysis) and, to  improve  quality,  only
QSOs that have QSLs confirmed are  considered to be worked.  The most wanted
charts are rebuilt once per month, on average.

RI1F ---> RI1F has been active  from  Viktoriya Island (EU-190), Franz Josef
Land [425DXN 1378] since 4 October. Some 4,500 QSOs  have been  made so far.
Initial plans were for the team to be QRV for one week, and to  upload their
logs to Club Log (search for RI1F/EU-190) while on the island.

VEFF ---> Dave, VA3RJ reports that  "the Canada Flora & Fauna (VEFF) program
is well under way". VEFF awards are available for activators and chasers  in
various categories,  and activities are also good for the World Wide Flora &

WRTC 2018 ---> WRTC 2018 e.V., organizer and  host  of the  World Radiosport
Team Championship (WRTC) 2018, has  announced  the  63  teams  that  will be
invited to compete in  Germany next July.  WRTC is a competition among  two-
operator teams.  Team Leaders have been selected for each  qualifying region
based on two years of qualifying contest scores. The Team Leaders were given
the option to select any operator as a Team Mate to complete their team.
