Access to the main functions of www.425dxn.org is provided by the 425DXN App
for Android. It is available on Google Play - free of charge, no ads. Enjoy!

CB0ZA ---> Mike, AD5A has joined the multi-national team that will be active
from Robinson Crusoe Island (SA-005), Juan Fernandez on 13-20 February 2024
[425DXN 1683]. The North American operators will meet on 7-10 December to
test the radio equipment and prepare the antennas for shipment to Chile. See
https://cb0za.com/ for more information and updates. [TNX CE1TBN]

H40WA: POSTPONED ---> The Intrepid DX Group's DXpedition to the Temotu
Province [425DXN 1679] "cannot go forward as planned from 26 October to 9
November", the co-leaders announced on 16 October. The new tentative dates
are 22 February-7 March 2024.
"A few weeks ago, we reported that all of our equipment was shipped to
Honiara, and was to be transported by vessel onto Temotu. Unfortunately, we
have just been informed that the transport ship has yet again been delayed,
and our equipment will not make it to Temotu in time for our planned activa-
tion date. All other options have been exhausted and we have no other viable
options other than to reschedule for the February/March timeframe. The team
is now working on getting our flights and hotel reservations rescheduled. If
any of our donors/sponsors need a refund for your donations, please email
pauln6pse[@]gmail.com for a refund".

V62P & V62S ---> On 16 October  Cezar, VE3LYC  received  "the shockingly sad
news that captain Callistus, who was in charge of sailing the boat to Pulap
and Satawal, had just passed away. He was in mid 50s, had a very good under-
standing of this project and obtained the support of the local Chiefs, whom
he knew personally. Captain Callistus was truly happy to be part of this
project and will be sorely missed".
In any case, the company Cezar has hired for the voyage has confirmed that
they will be able to provide their services as planned. The timelime of this
project has not changed, and Cezar still plans to be QRV as V62P from Pulap
(OC-155) on 1-7 November, and as V62S from Satawal (OC-299) on 9-16 Novem-
ber. See https://v6iota.weebly.com/ for updates.

W8S ---> The DXpedition to Swains Island made 89,530 QSOs with 21,471 unique
Callsigns and an even distribution over the three largest areas (Europe
35.1%, North America 30.8%, Asia 29%). The complete statistics can be found
on https://clublog.org/charts/?c=W8S#r. The QSL manager (M0OXO) has received
the final logs. Please note that log check requests for Busted Calls, Not in
Log and/or Missing Calls should be processed through the "Not in Log?" form
on his OQRS: https://www.m0oxo.com/oqrs.
