Records as the TV's longest-running sci-fi show in the world. The
series began on 23 November 1963 and the original run aired 694
episodes consecutively across 26 seasons until 1989; it was revived
in 2005 after 16 years off the screen.

from Swains Island on 22-27 November, including an entry in the CQ

Swains", AA7JV says, "the station will be entirely remotely operat-
ed by HA7RY and HA2NA", while the two on the "Magnet" (KN4EEI and
AA7JV himself) "will be busy the entire time keeping the boat on
station near the island". Outside the contest K8R will concentrate
on 160 metres at local sunset and sunrise. QSL via HA7RY and LoTW.
Please note that the same callsign was used by HA7RY and HA5YG from
mainland American Samoa on 14-18 September.
PA - Celebrating Christmas and the New Year, special callsigns PA23XMAS
and PD23SANTA will be active on 1-31 December, while PD24HNY will

tificate will be available (see https://www.qrz.com/db/PA23XMAS).
S5 - Special event station S524PMC will be active from 8 December to 8
January 2024 to promote the PMC Contest, sponsored by the Radio
Club Slovenj Gradec (S59DCD). The International Association of
Peace Messenger Cities was established in 1988 to recognize and en-
courage the role and responsibility cities have in creating a cul-
ture of peace. The PMC Contest, promoting contacts between sta-
tions located in the Peace Messenger Cities and the rest of the
world, will be held on 6-7 January. Complete information can be
         found on https://www.s59dcd.si/index.php/sl/.
SV - Special callsign SX25GTC will be in use on 1-15 December to cele-
brate the 25th anniversary since the formation of the Greek Teleg-

         qrz.com for information.
V4 - Bob, WX4G (V47RB and V48A) has cancelled his 20 November-1 December
trip to St. Kitts [425DXN 1697]. Now he expects to go there on 13-
         20 February 2024.
V6 - After spending nine full days on Satawal Atoll (V62S), Cezar VE3LYC
commenced operations as V62P from Puluwat Atoll (OC-155) just
before 6 UTC on 24 November. As of 21 November, the situation
appeared rather uncertain: "I have specifically requested a minimum
of four operating days from Puluwat, but will see what happens in
the end. Please refrain from making multiple contacts with V62P, so
that more hams can have a chance at logging the rare OC-155. All
this change of schedule has a pretty negative effect on me, ampli-
fied by the fact that I didn't feel well for the past couple of
days". As an added inconvenience, Cezar's laptop failed a few days
ago, and now he is logging manually on paper.
VK_ant - Dave, VK2JDS will be active occasionally as VK0DS from Davis Sta-
tion, Antarctica between December 2023 and November 2024. The bands
that he hopes to be on are "some of HF, possibly WSPR on 6 metres
(depending on local science projects), 2 metres EME (only on occa-
sions when I get time off and conditions are favourable), possibly
23cm EME". Nothing is certain, he says, as "weather conditions and
station duties will take precedence". QSL direct to home call and
         LoTW.
VP2V - Look for VP2V/AG9A, VP2V/K2KW, VP2V/KD4D and VP2V/W9RE to be active
holiday style from Anegada, British Virgin Islands (NA-023) on 4-12
December. They will operate CW, SSB and digital modes mostly on 20-
10 metres. Main activity will be during the ARRL 10-Meter Contest
(9-10 December) as VP2VMM (QSL via LoTW, Club Log's OQRS, or via
         KU9C).
VP8 - Commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Falkland Islands Govern-
ment Aviation Service, special event station VP8FLY will be active
from the north east end of Stanley airport, Falkland Islands (SA-
         002) during the month of December, and especially on 19 December.
         QSL direct to VP8LP.
YB - Burkhard, DL3KZA is currently active as YB9/DL3KZA from Sumbawa Is-
land (OC-150) until 4 December. QSL via home call, direct or bu-
reau. Along with him are YB9IPY and YC9GBO. [TNX The Daily DX]

Islands (OC-038) on 22-29 November, including an entry in the CQ WW
DX CW Contest. QSL via LoTW, Club Log's OQRS, or via DK7AO.

+ SILENT KEY + Seewoosankar "Jacky" Mandary, 3B8CF, passed away on 17 Novem-
ber. Born in 1943 and first licensed in 1967 as VQ8CF, he remained a regular
presence on CW from Mauritius until recent years. For over a quarter of a
century, he was also a prominent member of the Mauritius Amateur Radio Soci-
