8Q - Juergen, DL3JH will be active as 8Q7JH from the Maldives (AS-013)
from 20 September to 10 October. He will operate CW, SSB, and FT8
on 20, 15 and 10 metres. QSL via home call, direct or bureau.
9H - Members of the Calabria DX Team (namely Alex IK8YFU, Luigi IU8GUK,
Pino I8YGZ, and Edo IU8HEP) will be active as 9H/IQ8BV from Malta
(EU-023) on 10-12 October. They will operate CW, SSB, and FT8/FT4
on 80-10 metres. QSOs will be uploaded to HRDLOG.net in real time;
QSL via LoTW, or direct to IU8HEP. [TNX IK8YFU]
DL - On the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the birth of Rudolf
Hell, the special callsign DA125RH will be active from 1 October to
31 December. QSL via Club Log's OQRS, LoTW, eQSL.
Rudolf Hell (1901-2002) was a German engineer who, in 1925, invent-
ed the Hellschreiber - an early forerunner to dot-matrix printers
and fax machines. The transmission method named after him had a
major impact on communications technology and continues to be used
by amateur radio operators today.
F - Special event station TM73FT will be active on 19-20 September for
the European Heritage Days from the Fort du Telegraphe (aka Fort
Berwick), located at 1,585 metres a.s.l. in the French Alps. Plans
are to have three stations active on CW, SSB/FT8, and via QO-100.

F - Special event callsign TM26SP will be used by Nicolas, F4HZS on the
occasion of pope Leo XIV's upcoming apostolic journey to France
(25-28 September). QSL via F4HZS.
IS0 - Alberto, IK2GAO and Ellie, IU2SMJ will be active as IM0/IK2GAO and
IM0/IU2SMJ from Sant'Antioco Island (EU-024) on 10-20 September.
They will operate mainly CW on 40, 20 and 10 metres. QSOs will be
uploaded to LoTW.
KH0 - Look for KH0/JR1FKR to be active holiday style from Saipan, North-
ern Mariana Islands (OC-086) on 25-28 September. He will operate
SSB, FT8 and RTTY on 40, 20, 17, 15, 10 and 6 metres. QSL via LoTW,
or via home call (direct and bureau).
KH8 - Due to a change in flight schedules, the KH8A DXpedition team
[425DXN 1827] will stay in Pago Pago two days less than planned and
will be active from 30 October to 12 November. Four stations with
small power amplifiers will be on the air around the clock on 160-6
metres CW, SSB, RTTY, and FT8 (MSHV). QSL via Club Log's OQRS (pre-

ON - Special callsign OT5IDPD will be active from 4 November to 3 Decem-
ber for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, whose
annual observance (3 December) was proclaimed by the United Nations
General Assembly in 1992. All operators will be hams with a dis-
ability. The logs will be uploaded to LoTW, Club Log and eQSL; all
QSOs will be confirmed automatically via the bureau. [TNX ON4AAC]
PA - Commemorating the 82nd anniversary of Operation Market Garden,
members of the PI4CQ club station will be active as PH82MG on 15-20
September. QSL via the bureau or direct.
SV - SV8/F2VX, SV8/F9IE and SV8/F6BLP are active from Kefalonia (EU-052)
until 15 September. They operate SSB, CW and digital modes on 80-10
metres.
TA - Golkem, TA7AZC and Emre, TA7EK will be active as YM7KK/0 from
Giresun Island (AS-154) on 13-15 September. With no local power
grid, the station will run entirely on battery power and portable
antenna systems. [TNX DX World]
TA - Team TC8KHT will be active from Karahan Tepe (grid KM97PC) on 18-20
September. Activity will be on 80-10 metres CW, SSB, FT8/FT4, and
via QO-100. QSL via eQSL and QRZ Logbook. Karahan Tepe is Neolithic
archaeological site that may be the earliest known human village,
dating to around 9400 BC.
VE - To commemorate the 25th anniversary of 11 September 2001 and pay
respect to those who lost their lives, the Amateur Radio Club of
Central Newfoundland (VO1GAM) is active as VO1911G. This honours
the humanitarian efforts of Central Newfoundland: with US airspace
closed, the local communities sheltered nearly 6,800 stranded pas-
sengers and crew members from 38 diverted airline flights.
VP9 - Al K7AR, Ron WJ7R, and Lee N7NU will be active as N7NU/VP9 from
Bermuda (NA-005)on 23-29 September. They will operate FT8 and other
modes on various bands, and will participate in the CQ WW RTTY DX
Contest (26-27 September) as VP9I. QSL N7NU/VP9 via Club Log's
OQRS, LoTW, or via home call. QSL VP9I via LoTW, Club Log's OQRS,
or direct to WW3S.

IOTA NEWS ---> The logs for the IOTA Contest 2026 island stations have now
been added to the IOTA database and are available for QSO matching. Record-
holders who have made IOTA contacts in an IOTA contest after 2003, can claim
credit for them without submitting QSLs, provided that the contact details
match. Go to https://iota-world.org/, log in, select "Add Contest QSOs"
under the "My IOTA" tab, and choose either "Upload Contest Log" or "Manual
QSO Entry".
RI1FJZ ---> The RI1FJZ DXpedition team set sail aboard the "Apostol Andrey"
on 8 September at around 1:00 UTC, heading for Alexandra Land in the west-
ernmost part of Franz Josef Land. Depending on weather and sea conditions,
they are expected to reach their destination on 13-14 September. Follow

SAC ---> The 67th Scandinavian Activity Contest will be held on 19-20
September (CW) and 10-11 October (SSB), from 12 UTC on Saturday to 11:59 UTC
on Sunday. Scandinavian stations (Aland Islands, Denmark, Faroe Islands,
Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Jan Mayen, Market Reef, Norway, Svalbard and
Bear Island, Sweden) will try to work as many non-Scandinavian stations as
possible and vice versa. Complete information of the SAC events can be found
