5B     - 5B4AIE, DL8JJ, G4PVM and MM0NDX will be active  as  C4II from Agios
         Georgios Island (AS-120) on 25-27 August. They  plan to operate CW,
         SSB  and FT8 on  80-10 metres, and possibly on 6m.  QSL route to be
         announced. [TNX DX World]
9A     - Duby, 9A6DR is active again as 9A6DR/p from Kolocep Island (EU-016)
         until around 20 October.  In his spare time he is QRV on 40, 20, 10
         and 6 metres. QSL via home call, direct or bureau. [TNX 9A6DR]
F      - Gil, F4FET will be active as F4FET/p  from  Moutons Island (EU-094)
         and lighthouse on 18-19 August. He will operate SSB on 80-17m.  QSL
         via home call, direct or bureau.
F      - A large multinational team of YL operators will be active as TM64YL
         from Noirmoutier Island (EU-064) on 25-31 August. They will operate
         SSB, CW, RTTY and FT8. QSL via F4GDI, direct or bureau. [TNX F8REF]
F      - Jacques, F6HMJ will be active as SV8/F6HMJ from Ios Island (EU-067)
         from  27 August to 6 September.  He will operate CW and some SSB on
         40-10 metres. QSL via home call. [TNX F6AJA]
G      - GB250CC is a special  callsign  for  the  Pontefract  and  District
         Amateur Radio Society to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Captain
         James Cook's first scientific voyage of discovery  to  the  Pacific
         Ocean (1768-1771). The first activity will take place on  23 August
         for 28 days, to mark the sailing  of Cook's ship,  the "Endeavour",
         from Plymouth (25 August 1768).  Other  activities  will follow  to
         coincide with key  moments in the  voyage.  QSL via  LoTW and eQSL;
         paper cards go to GB250CC (bureau) or direct to G0BPK.
HH     - EA1ACP, EA1DVY, EA7FTR, EB7DX, HH2JR and HH2MK  will  be active  as
         4V7R from Haiti (NA-096) on  19-29 October.  They will operate  CW,
         SSB, RTTY and FT8 on 160-6 metres.  QSL via EB7DX.  The website for

OE     - Special callsigns  OE18BALLON (18-25 August)  and  OE23HABC  (16-26
         August) will  be  active  for  the  23rd FAI  World Hot Air Balloon
         Championship to be held in Gross-Siegharts, Austria.
SM     - Baldur, DJ6SI  will be active as SD6X  on  12-20 August,  including
         participation in  the  International  Lighthouse/Lightship  Weekend
         from the Pater Noster lighthouse on Hamneskar Island (EU-043).  QSL
         via home call.
T8     - Nobu, JA0JHQ (http://pandasan.jimdo.com/) will be active  again  as
         T88PB  from  Koror (OC-009), Palau  from 31 August to  3 September.
         Main activity  will  be during  the  All Asian DX SSB Contest  (1-2
         September),  with  some  CW (especially on 30m)  and  possibly  FT8
         outside the contest.  QSL via LoTW (preferred) or direct to JA0JHQ.
UA     - Mike, UA1QV has postponed his  RI1OA  expedition  to  Novaya Zemlya
         (EU-035) [425DXN 1422] owing to "serious questions" about the  "the
         reliability of the vessel". Another attempt will be made later this
         year on the yacht "Apostol Andrey" (the same ship that Mike and the
         RI0B team will be using for their Artic Legends IOTA DXpedition).
V3     - Victor, WB0TEV will be active again as V31VP from Blackman Eddy  in
         central Belize  on  16-22 August, including  participation  in  the
         SARTG WW RTTY Contest  and  the North American QSO Party SSB (18-19
         August). QSL via Club Log's OQRS, or via WB0TEV (direct or bureau).

V4     - Gary, G0FWX will be active  as  V47FWX  from  St Kitts (NA-104)  on
         18-25 August, and again on 7-14 November. QSL via M0URX's OQRS  and

VK9X   - Tony G2NF, Nigel G3TXF,  Chris G3SVL,  David G3WGN  and  Mike G3WPH
         will be active as VK9XG  from  Christmas Island (OC-002)  on  17-30
         October. They will operate CW, SSB, FT8 DXpedition mode and perhaps
         RTTY on 160-10m with four stations.  QSL via LoTW,  Club Log's OQRS

W      - Members of the  Old Barney ARC will be  active  as  N2OB  from 'Old
         Barney', the Barnegat Lighthouse on  Long Beach Island (NA-111)  on
         18 August, from  bout 13 UTC to 21 UTC.  They will operate SSB  and
         some CW and FT8 on 40 and 20 metres.  QSL VIA N2OO.  [TNX The Daily

W      - Wey, K8EAB will  be  active  again as  K4G  from  St. George Island
         (NA-085)  on  20-25 August.  QSL via  Club Log  for electronic IOTA
         credit (preferred), or direct to K8EAB.
XT     - A Slovenian team (S54W, S57L, S58Y, S59ZZ and S50A) will be  active
         as  XT2SZZ  from  Bobo  Dioulasso, Burkina Faso  on  22-30 October.
         Activity  will  be on  various  HF bands  and  6 metres.  They will
         participate in the CQ WW DX SSB Contest. QSL via S59ZZ.
XV     - Jacek, SP5APW will be active as 3W9JK from Cham Island (AS-162)  on
         15-22 September, and then as 3W9JK/p from Hoi An (mainland Vietnam)
         on 22-27 September.  He will operate SSB  on  20-6 metres.  QSL via
         Club Log's OQRS, or via SP5APW. [TNX DX World]
YB     - Look for YB3MM/8, YB8OUN/8, YC8OBM/8, YD8MGN/8 and possibly  others
         to be active from Waleakodi Island (OC-213) on 18-21 August.  Plans
         are to operate mainly CW and FT8 with three stations and a focus on

Z6     - Tev, TA1HZ will be active as Z68HZ from Kosovo on 17-27 August.  He
         will operate maily SSB and FT8. QSL via LoTW (preferred),  ordirect
         to home call.

BALKAN TOUR ---> Franco, IZ5YHD will be active  holiday style  as  Z6/IZ5YHD
from Kosovo on  20-26 August, and  as  Z3/IZ5YHD  from  Macedonia  on  27-31
August. He will operate SSB on the HF bands. QSL via home call.

QSL VE3KTB/VY0 ---> Since the sad news of  the passing  of VE7IG,  QSL cards
for  VE3KTB/VY0's  activity  from  Axel Heiberg Island  (NA-043,  July 2016)
should no longer  be requested  via that route.  New cards are being printed
and will be available via M0OXO's OQRS.

VP6D ---> The VP6D team now includes DJ9RR, HA0NAR, K3EL, K5GS, N6HC,  N6WM,
N6XG, PY2PT, UT6UD, W1SRD, W2LK, WA6O, ZL3CW and the newly added  DXpedition
veteran Rob Fanfant, N7QT. The Ducie Island 2018 project is on schedule, and
the  equipment  will  soon  begin  its  long  journey  to New  Zealand.  See
