3D2 - A retired electrical engineer, Barry, KD6XU lives aboard a sailboat
and operates from remote beaches, islands, and coastal hideaways.
He specializes in QRP setups, to test the limits of his gear in
off-grid environments. He is currently staying in Nabukeru village,
Yasawa Islands (OC-156), Fiji and is active as 3D2BP on 40, 30, and
20 metres CW, SSB, and possibly FT8. QSOs are uploaded to QRZ Log-
book, LoTW, and Club Log; no paper QSLs. [TNX DX World]
3W - Jacek, SP5APW will be active as 3W9C from Hon Son/Hon Rai (AS-128),
Vietnam on 4-12 September. He will operate SSB and FT8 on 20, 15,
and 10 metres, but his focus will be on 6 metres. QSL via Club

7P - Team 7P8GE (namely Manfred DK1BT, Wolf DL4WK, Annette DL6SAK, Tom
DL7BO and Frank DL7UFR) will be active from Lesotho on 16-29 Octo-
ber. They will operate CW, SSB, and digital modes on 80-10 metres
with up to five stations. QSL via DL7UFR, direct or bureau; the

C3 - C37EME is the callsign for an EME activity to take place from the
Principality of Andorra between 5 and 10 August. Detailed informa-

C6 - Eric, K9GY will be active as C6AYM from Eleuthera (NA-001), Bahamas
on 5-10 August. He will operate CW on 80-6 metres, and will par-
ticipate in the CW leg of the WAE DX Contest (8-9 August). QSL via

CT - CR60A is the special callsign activated by Rede dos Emissores Por-
tugueses (REP) to join the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of
the 25th of April Bridge. Opened on 6 August 1966, this iconic
landmark spans the Tagus River to connect Lisbon with Almada on the
south bank. Look out for activity from 3 to 10 August, with opera-
tions across the HF bands and via the QO-100 satellite using SSB,

H44 - Lance, W7GJ will be active as H44GJ from Lola Island (OC-149),
Solomon Islands between 28 August and 11 September. This will be a
6m EME DXpedition, using Q65-60A in the "Q65 Pileup" mode. Detailed

"When I am not aimed up at the moon", he says, "I may be monitoring
50.313 on FT8 mode if I am available". QSL via LoTW, or direct to

JA - 8J7SPO is a special callsign commemorating the Japan Sport Associa-
tion's 80th Japan Games and the 25th National Sports Festival for
People with Disabilities, to be held in Aomori Prefecture. Look for
activity on various bands and modes between 1 August and 26 Octo-
ber. QSOs will be uploaded to Club Log, and confirmed automatically
via the bureau; direct cards go to JQ7ATB.
OH0 - Team OH0ERF (namely DG0OCG, DL1STL, DL1TAM, DL5ARI, DL5AXI, and
DO6KD) will be active from the Aland Islands (EU-002) on 5-12 Au-
gust. They will operate CW, SSB, and FT8 on 160-10 metres, plus 6
metres if conditions allow. QSL via DK0ERF.
OX - Bo, OZ1DJJ will be active again in his spare time as OX3LX from
Greenland as follows:
3-8 August Pituffik Space Base (grid FQ56PM, IOTA NA-018)
9-17 August Savissivik, Meteorite Island (grid FQ76KA, NA-134?)
While focusing on 6 metres, he will also be QRV on the HF bands.

P4 - Mat, DL4MM will be active again as P40AA from Aruba (SA-036) on 6-
10 August. He will operate CW, SSB, and digital modes on 160-6 me-
tres, with a focus on the CW leg of the Worked All Europe DX Con-
test (WAEDC, 8-9 August). QSL via Club Log's OQRS. [TNX NG3K]
T2 - Aki, JK1JXZ, was expected to be QRV as T2JK from Tuvalu starting on
30 July [425DXN 1837]. However, adverse weather conditions prevent-
ed his flight from landing, forcing a return to Fiji. The flight
has been rescheduled for 2 August. Aki was originally set to remain
in Tuvalu until 7 August, with a possible extension to 14 August.
He will be QRV on 80-6 metres, "all day" during the weekends and
after 17 (local time) during the weekdays. QSL via LoTW.
UA - Between 25 and 27 July, the Arctic's Legends IOTA DXpedition team
was active as RI0BW from Vize Island (AS-055). Over the course of
nearly 39 hours of operation, the team logged 7,868 QSOs.
Then they reached Uyedineniya Island (AS-057) in the early hours of
the morning on 29 July, and began operations as RI0BU shortly after
17:30 UTC. Plans were to remain QRV until sometime on 31 July. QSLs
via M0OXO's OQRS.
After that, they will head towards Dudinka. The RI0BI operation
from Isachenko Island (AS-050) has been cancelled, as the waters
around the island are still clogged with ice.
UA - Vladimir, RK8A and Igor, UA3EDQ will be island hopping in the
Obskaya Gulf of the Kara Sea between 21 and 28 August. They plan to
be active as RI8KR from four island groups - all of them are valid
for the Russian Robinson Award, but only some islands (e.g.
Khalevpugor, Sokhveltyypugor, the Nanginskiye Islands) qualify for
IOTA group AS-109. They will operate CW, SSB and possibly digital

UR - Special event station EN35UKR will be active on 1-30 August to mark
the 35th anniversary of Ukraine's independence. QSL via LoTW, or
via UT2UCN.
W - The Old Barney Amateur Radio Club will be active as W2T from the
Tucker's Island Lighthouse in the Tuckerton Seaport (mainland New
Jersey) on 8 August, from about 13 UTC to 20 UTC. Activity mostly
on 40 and 20 metres SSB and FT8. QSL via N2OO.
YS - Rikk, WE9G will be active as YS/WE9G from El Sunzal (EK53hl), El
Salvador on 7-14 August. He will operate mainly FT8, with some CW
and SSB, on various bands, 6 metres included. QSL via Club Log's
OQRS, LoTW, or via home call (direct and bureau).
ZK3 - The final permission to enter Tokelau (OC-048) was received on 26
July. The ten team members will gather in Apia (Samoa) during the
week of 16 November before embarking on a 30-hour ferry crossing to
Tokelau on 17 November. Upon arrival, the team will spend 14 days
on the atoll, operating multiple HF stations on 160-6 metres CW,
SSB, RTTY, and FT8 (F/H). QSL via M0URX's OQRS. The callsign and

10-BAND DXCC AWARD --- > The new ARRL 10-Band DXCC Award plaque recognizes

ETHICS AND OPERATING PROCEDURES FOR THE RADIO AMATEUR --- > The Internation-

WRTC 2026: ORGANISING COMMITTEE ANNOUNCEMENT (27 JULY 2026) --- > "The WRTC
2026 Organising Committee have become aware of a number of discrepancies
contained within log files from competing stations at this year's event",
Mark Haynes (M0DXR) published on https://www.wrtc2026.org/. "Consultation
with the Judging Committee has confirmed that these findings are of particu-
lar importance as they may impact on the finishing positions of the teams".
Following an emergency meeting, the Judging Committee was instructed to con-
duct a thorough re-analysis of the competition results to reach a definitive
conclusion. The final results of the investigation will be submitted to the
Sanctioning Committee for endorsement prior to a public announcement.
